During your studies you'll be working with a lot of electronics. Soldering is one of the most useful skills you can learn to help you neatly assemble these electronics.
Whether it's just soldering a pair of headers to your Arduino, soldering a few wires together or even (de)soldering entire chips, this hands-on workshop meant for both beginners and experts has got you covered!
In this workshop you'll be taught about the following topics:
- Introduction to soldering and basic usage of a soldering iron
- THT soldering
- How to use flux
- Stripping & soldering wires
- Difference in soldering iron tips
- Caring for your soldering iron
- Desoldering
- SMD soldering
- Useful tools & circuit debugging
You will also receive a care package with a few nice-to-have tools as well as this really cool DIY oscilloscope soldering kit to take home!
